We’re celebrating Frederic Chopin’s birthday
As a part of a celebration of Frederic Chopin’s birthday (22nd of February or 1st of March 1810) in March we’re serving a special Chopin’s Menu. Our chef Piotr Pielachowski has prepared menu inspired by Frederic Chopin letter’s, where he mentions his culinary preferences.

Portuguese wines tasting
We cordially invite You to a degustation of Portuguese wines, which will be held on the 24th of January (Tuesday) at 7:00 pm in the relaxed atmosphere of our café.
Five glasses of wine will present a complete cross-section of the winery of Portugal (including Vinho Verde, Douro, Dao, Alentejo). All wines come from organic and biodynamic vineyards.
Wine will be accompanied by suitable fingerfood selected by our sommelier Paweł Parma. Event will be commented by Rafał Tymcik, wine importer.

For Valentine’s Day Piotr Pielachowski, chef of Tamka 43, prepared a six entries tasting menu that will be served on the 10th -14th February. In the menu we offer aphrodisiacs and aromatic spices stimulating the senses.

Tamka 43 wine menu among the best in Poland
Wine menu of Tamka 43 restaurant was listed among top 10 best wine menus in Poland in 2016 according to WINO Magazine. We’re happy for this award and happy to present our wine menu prepared by our sommelier Paweł Parma.

During the Christmas-New Year’s period the opening hours of the restaurant and café will be as follows.
Tamka 43 restaurant will be open until Friday the 23rd of December, and next from the 2nd of January. Between the 24th of December and the 1st of January the restaurant will be closed.

27th – 30th of December – open from 10:00 am till 8:00 pm

New opening hours of Tamka 43 Café on the 20th of December
On the 20th of December (Tuesday) Tamka 43 Café (situated on the ground floor of the Tamka 43 restaurant) will be open from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, and from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm our Café will be closed.
Tamka 43 restaurant will be working in a regular hours, that is from 12:00 pm till 10:00 pm (last order).

Tamka 43 is supporting “The More You Eat, the More You Help” , organised by SOS Wioski Dziecięce Association in Poland.
On the 1st of December we will dedicate 10% of our daily income for those, who need it for Christmas.

Exhibition of fine art prints by Tytus Brzozowski
We cordially invite You to the exhibition of fine art prints by Tytus Brzozowski on the 21st of November (Monday) at 7:00 pm
Architect and watercolorist Tytus Brzozowski takes his home city of Warsaw as is his inspiration and driving force. The artist plays with elements of the city like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, using Warsaw’s historical and geographical landscape as a starting point from which to put the pieces together again.
Brzozowski’s Warsaw is a city where the past coexists with the present, a city of dreams in which the artist would want to live himself.
All these planes and treatments stem from a desire to recover the city, discover its character, to listen to its inner voice. The more we inquire into the subject matter of these works, the more secrets we can uncover.
The exhibition will cover selected works from 2016.

Etudes. Karol Prochacki’s art exhibition
We cordially invite You to Karol Prochacki’s exhibition opening
‘In his new painting series, Karol Prochacki tirelessly and consistently explores the pictorial form. The fascination with colour, pouring stain and penetration of layers result in expressive compositions. Hypnotic and radiant with its inner glow. The artist balances on the edge of landscape and abstraction, giving his canvases ambiguous dimension. He appeals to the sensitivity of the viewer, thus provoking one to encounter the world of personal associations and experiences. Upon working on ‘Etudes’ series, the artist was accompanied by Frederic Chopin’s Etudes, which have naturally become an important part of the creative process. This raises the question – to what extent, if any, a piece of music with its rhythm and energy is translatable to the matter of painting?’ Katarzyna Kowalska
Karol Prochacki – born in Gdańsk (1982). A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk with a degree in design and set design. His projects have been presented in King’s College, London; Direktorenhaus Gallery, Berlin; ZPAP Gallery, Warsaw and the National Museum in Gdańsk. He is living and working in Warsaw.

Andrzej Szatyński: High On Life. Art exhibition
Café Tamka 43 has began cooperation with Lumarte art gallery. On the 10th of August at 7:00 pm. we cordially invite You to the opening of the first of many Polish artists’ exhibitions, which will regularly take place in our café on the ground floor.
Andrzej Szatyński (’86), designer, painter, stage designer and interior architect, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. He is constantly experimenting with form, and each new exhibition is the result of research, combining techniques and analysis of his issues of interest. This time, traversing urban space, the artist captures the phenomenon of the seemingly trivial and temporary in the industrial landscape. He leans over a kind of stop-frame, creating a vibrating tissue of memory, repetition, typically human automatism, full of randomness and fun associated with the process of “trying.”

It’s time for changes!
Tamka 43 parts with Arkadiusz Wilamowskim, who served here as chef for the past six months. It was a great time, busy and full of challenges. But it is time to follow other routes – Arkadiusz Wilamowski will continue to work abroad, and Tamka 43 begins a new chapter under the leadership of Piotr Pielachowski.
Arkadiusz Wilamowski, young, talented and full of ambition, introduced here refined cuisine, full of French accents. He has fully used his talent and experience gained abroad – and this is where he further decided to develop. With determination he led Tamka 43 towards his dream – Michelin star – and to gain it soon, is what we sincerely wish him. We are parting in harmony, mutual respect and understanding, excitedly awaiting the new. Soon we will have the pleasure to present a new silhouette of the new chef of Tamka 43 – Piotr Pielachowski. For now we say goodbye to Arkadiusz Wilamowski, full of recognition for his talent and culinary creativity. All the best Arek!
