Exhibition of fine art prints by Kasia Łubińska

We cordially invite you to Kasia Łubińska’s exhibition opening on the 13th of June at 7:00 pm

Kasia Łubińska is a Warsaw based illustrator. At the heart of her interest is nature in all its complexity and brilliance. Her works will be presented at Tamka 43 from June 13th.
The artist’s canvases are filled with the lush tropical jungle, colorful birds of paradise, branches bending under the weight of fruit. You may think that this is a pre-human era or an alternate reality in which man has never set foot. The artist does not faithfully recreate reality, but creatively transforms it. In her works we find non-existent species of birds or plants. This creative transposition introduces us to the seemingly familiar world, but mysterious and unfathomable.
Kasia Łubińska: “It’s amazing how insects are complex and mysterious in ther construction, even though every part of their anatomy is on the outside. I also like to observe the feathers on birds, the stripes on leaves, the structure of a broken branch. I am surrounded by plants and I feel very good in their company”.
Kasia Łubińska is the author of a series of labels for the “Inne Beczki” brewery. You can also find her works in the „Niebo” club in Warsaw.
